Chausuyama Park
The rugged park is home to over 300 plant varieties. Among them, more than 15,000 azaleas in over 40 varieties bloom in brilliant colors, covering the mountain.
The Haiku Path is lined with 69 slabs featuring engraved haiku poems.

Wanimokko
Surrounded by nature, the Hayaseno region of Owani has long been home to thriving forestry and lumber industries.
Shirakami-Sanchi is a World Heritage Site. The beech forests intermingle with Aomori cypress and Akita cedar trees, making up one of Japan’s three great forests. A unique group in the rich, undeveloped foothill woodlands of the southern Tsugaru, crafting wooden products in a woodworking studio.
